The A63 road ( English for road A63 ) is a partly designated as a primary route trunk road in England , which leads from Leeds to Kingston upon Hull . In one section it has been replaced by the M62 motorway . The eastern section of the road is part of the European route 20, which is not designated as such in England .

The road starts in Leeds on the A61 road , runs east and crosses the M1 motorway at its junction 46, becomes the primary road there, crosses the A1 (M) motorway at its junction 42, continues east and bypasses Selby south on a bypass, crosses the A19 road and then runs to the M62 motorway , which is reached at Howden . The M62 motorway replaces the A63 from its terminal 37 to the terminal 38 and then proceeds into the four lanes and level without crossing developed A63, which in Hessle following the road A15 has, on the Humber Bridge which Humberästuar crosses. The A63 continues along the north bank of the Humber into the center of Kingston upon Hull and then merges into the A1033 road.
