Act

Weygoldt campaigned for an improvement in primary schools and teachers' pay. The result was that the class division was reduced from 100 to 70 students, more than 900 teachers and more female teachers were hired, the teaching time for the students was increased and the teachers' salaries were increased significantly in accordance with the previous education of the elementary school teachers.

Weygoldt created with support from some district school boards and some of its staff from the school inspector for all elementary schools in Baden lesson plans , to increase the quality of teaching. As a result, the elementary school students got a clearer and more engaging lesson than was previously usual.

Weygoldt also advocated a better vocational school , then called a further education school . In a report to the state parliament, he called for compulsory vocational schooling with at least six hours per week for students in industrial and commercial advanced training schools instead of low tuition at a general advanced training school . This compulsory vocational school was approved by the second chamber of the Baden assembly of estates on June 30, 1898. Weygoldt's demand to extend this compulsory vocational schooling to girls was also approved by the Second Chamber of the Baden Estates Assembly in 1902.

Weygoldt also created lesson plans for the vocational training schools that were based on an official reading book he had written, which provided for contributions for the professional areas and civic education.
