Georg Rosenbauer

Georg Rosenbauer (born June 26, 1941 in Ostheim ) is a German politician ( CSU ). From 1996 to 2008 he was District Administrator of the district Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

Life

Rosenbauer was the owner of an agricultural training company. From 1972 to 1978 he was the first mayor of the Ostheim community and thus the youngest mayor of Bavaria. From 1978 he was the second mayor of the Westheim community . In the same year he became a member of the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district council . On November 2, 1984, he replaced Fritz Pirkl in the Bavarian state parliament , where he sat until 1994. From 1994 to 1996 he was parliamentary group leader of the CSU of the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district. As the church commissioner of his parliamentary group for the Jewish communities in the Free State, he was a friend of Charlotte Knobloch and the constitutional judge Klaus Hahnzog . From 1996 to 2008 he was the district administrator of the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district. Until 2008 he was also chairman of the Franconian Lake District Tourism Association and the Brombachsee and Hahnenkammsee associations . Today he lives with his wife Marianne in Ostheim on a 70 hectare farm. He has a total of six children.
