Franz Xaver Uhl
Franz Xaver Uhl (born November 4, 1955 in Walting ; † August 22, 2011 in Würzburg ) was a German politician of the CSU . He was District Administrator of the district Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .
Life
Uhl lived in Weißenburg in Bavaria until 1994 . Initially, he was managing director of the Altmühltal Nature Park Regional Committee ; from 1994 to 2008 he was mayor of Beilngries . From 1996 to 2008 Uhl was district councilor of the Upper Bavarian district of Eichstätt , where he was also the parliamentary group chairman of the local CSU from 2002. Since the local elections in Bavaria in 2008 he was District of Central Franconia district Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen.
At the end of 2010 Uhl suffered from pneumonia and heart muscle inflammation , which is why he was represented in official business by Robert Westphal (CSU) and Peter Krauss ( SPD ). He returned to work on April 26, 2011. But in mid-May 2011, Uhl fell ill with leukemia and went to inpatient treatment at the Würzburg University Hospital . He died there on August 22, 2011 at the age of 55.
In Pleinfeld a street is named after him.
