George Ruble

Georg Rubel (born June 12, 1978 in Kronach ) is a German theologian .

Life

He attended the elementary and partial secondary school in Stockheim (1984–1988) and the Kaspar-Zeuss-Gymnasium Kronach (1988–1997), where he graduated from high school in 1997. He completed the basic course in Catholic theology in Bamberg from 1998-2000 in 2000 with an intermediate diploma . After studying abroad at the Pontificia Università Gregoriana (2000–2001) in Rome , he continued his main studies at the Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg (2001–2003), where he obtained his diploma in 2003. From 2003 to 2008 he was Lothar Wehrs' research assistant . With the Ezzo Prize of the Archbishop of Bamberg in 2004 his diploma thesis The Exaltation of the Son of Man. An excellent contribution to the discussion of the theology of the cross in the Gospel of John . After working from 2004 to 2007 on his thesis, he was in February 2008 for a doctor of theology at the University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt doctorate . In June 2008 he was appointed to the Academic Council as a civil servant. In 2009/2010 he continued his university didactic training in Benediktbeuern. After working on the habilitation (2010-2013), he was at the Catholic University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt in January 2014 habilitation . In March 2014 he was appointed as a private lecturer and in July 2014 as a senior academic councilor on a temporary basis. In July 2016, he accepted the chair for Biblical Theology at the Luxembourg School of Religion & Society .
