Georg Scholz (born January 15, 1958 in Hamm ) is a medical officer with the rank of senior field doctor and a German local and state politician of the SPD .

education and profession

After graduating from high school in 1977, Georg Scholz studied medicine and philosophy at the Ruhr University in Bochum from 1977 to 1983 . He passed his medical state examination in 1983. In November 1983 the license to practice medicine followed, in 1990 the doctorate to Dr. med. at the Ruhr University. In April 1994 Scholz became a specialist in internal medicine, a psychotherapist in 1999 and a gastroenterologist in 2008. Since 2008 he has been in the rank of commander physician as senior physician and director of endoscopy of the interior department of the Military Hospital Berlin operates.

Georg Scholz has been a member of the SPD since January 1977 and has been deputy party chairman in Hamm since March 1999. From 1981 to 1987 he was Juso Chairman Hamm. Georg Scholz has been the state chairman of the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) NRW since June 2006 and in October 2010 he was elected Federal Doctor of the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Germany . In addition, he has been a member of the State Board of Paritätische NRW since 2009 .
