Georg Eugen Schroeder (born April 3, 1898 in Königsberg , † after 1936) was a German politician ( NSDAP ) and SS leader .

Live and act

After attending the high school in Königsberg, Georg Schroeder took part in the First World War as a volunteer from 1914 to 1918 , in which he was seriously wounded and achieved the rank of lieutenant.

In 1919 and 1920 Schroeder took part in the fighting in the Baltic States in the post-war period. In 1920 he joined the Black Reichswehr , with whom he participated in the suppression of communist uprisings. With the Freikorps Roßbach , Schroeder again participated in the German-Polish border conflicts in Upper Silesia in 1921/1922 . He then got involved in nationalist secret societies. He earned his living from 1924 to 1932 as a merchant and then as a jeweler.

In 1930 Schroeder joined the NSDAP (membership number 428.835). In 1931 he was seriously injured while driving to Braunschweig . In 1933 he was a member of the last Saxon state parliament for a few months, then from November 1933 to March 1936 he was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 28 (Dresden-Bautzen) . In the SS (membership number 18,864) he reached the rank of Standartenführer in Dresden .
