Georg Strassmann
Georg Strassmann (born February 22, 1890 in Berlin , † October 5, 1972 in Belmont (Massachusetts) ) was a doctor .
Strassmann received his doctorate from Heidelberg University in 1913 and became a private lecturer in Vienna in 1923 . In 1927 he became an associate professor at the University of Breslau . In 1938 he emigrated to the United States , where he became director of the Institute of Pathology in Waltham, Massachusetts .
