Georg Tyrahn
Georg Tyrahn (born September 19, 1860 in Königsberg (Prussia) , † 1917 in Karlsruhe ) was a German portrait and genre painter.
Georg Tyrahn began studying painting at the Königsberg Art Academy and continued it at the Grand Ducal Art School in Karlsruhe with Ferdinand Keller . He then studied at the Académie Julian in Paris . After completing his studies, he worked in Karlsruhe from 1896 and died there at the age of 57.
The influence of his teacher Ferdinand Keller is noticeable in his work. His works appeared in the "Gartenlaube"
