Felix Maxim Eller

Felix Maxim Eller (born December 6, 1992 in Unna ) is a German director , screenwriter and film producer .

biography

Felix Maxim Eller grew up in Unna. He attended the Ernst-Barlach-Gymnasium in Unna until 2012.

His first short films minimal (2011) and Pay Please! (2013) won awards at local film festivals. Eller's feature film debut, the comedy Young and Wild , which he made while still at school, premiered in 2014 at the Max Ophüls Prize film festival . After a festival tour through Germany, the film was published on the YouTube video platform and has so far received over a million views.

In 2015 Eller became artistic director of the young talent short film festival "Christian-Tasche-Filmpreis" in Unna. He studied from 2014 to 2018 at the Film School of the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences . His second feature film All Eyes on You was shown at the Shanghai International Film Festival and the Berlin Independent Film Festival in 2018 . At the Red Cedar Film Festival in Wisconsin, All Eyes on You won the feature film competition for best film. Eller was also recognized for his work as best director at the Romford Film Festival in Great Britain.

In 2019, Felix Maxim Eller and Jan Scharfenberg received the grant from the Mediengründerzentrum NRW for their film production company Lost Tape.
