Young and Wild (subtitle: “You will never forget this weekend!”) Is a low-budget film produced as a youth comedy or road movie by Felix Maxim Eller from 2014.
Most of the film was shot in Unna in 2012 and 2013 , where it premiered on May 28, 2014. Director Felix Maxim Eller , still a student at the time, also wrote the script and produced the film with his friend Karsten Jaskiewicz .

Dennis (Stefan Merten) failed his Abitur again and again and also failed with the girls, in contrast to his best friends Frederik (Karsten Jaskiewicz) and Tim (Michael Bruch). The three of them want to party extensively on the weekend, because it could be their last: Frederik wants to start his studies in Bavaria soon at the request of his father ( Martin Armknecht ) and Tim wants to go to Turkey.
They pool their saved money and book the best room in the best hotel for the weekend and want to party, so go through the clubs, tow women and shoot each other with alcohol. In addition to old friends, they also meet a young Hamburg captain ( Nicholas Handwerker ), annoying toddlers in the trunk of their own car and the burnt down grunge musician Tommy ( André Decker ), who quickly turns their weekend into a weird road trip on which they are of all places to the police.

The film was shot on 35 days in Unna and the surrounding area, Dortmund and Cologne for a year. It was produced without broadcasters or subsidies, which is why the shoot took place mainly on the weekends. The team worked on a voluntary basis to create the film, which is based on a screenplay by Felix Maxim Eller. In addition to directing, Eller also took over the camera and editing. He was supported by the leading actor Karsten Jaskiewicz, who accompanied him in the production. The cast and crew consisted of young actors, theater actors from Unna and film students from Dortmund.
The soundtrack is a mixture of instrumental music and songs composed especially for the film. Nicolas Watson, Daniele Martella and Jan Scharfenberg are responsible for this. The title song was composed, written, and sung by Aleksandra Kovač , who won an MTV Europe Music Award in 2006.
The film was released on the YouTube video platform in 2015 and has since generated over eight million views.
