Georg Gustaf Westling (born August 24, 1879 in Helsinki ; † November 14, 1930 ibid) was a Finnish sailor .
successes
Georg Westling, who was a member of the Nyländska Jaktklubben , took part in the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm in the 8-meter class as a crew member of the Lucky Girl . At the regatta taking place in Nynäshamn , the Finnish boat and the Swedish Sans Atout achieved second place in a total of two races, so that there was a tie-off between these two boats, in which the Sans Atout prevailed. Westling received the bronze medal alongside the other crew members Arthur Ahnger , Emil Lindh and Gunnar Tallberg . The Lucky Girl was skippered by Gunnar Tallberg's brother Bertil Tallberg .
