Georg Wolf (born January 17, 1817 in Karlsruhe , † May 2, 1864 in Konstanz ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Georg Wolf, son of the grand ducal court silver administrator, studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg from 1835 to 1839 after attending the high school in Karlsruhe . In 1836 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . In 1838 he joined the Corps Rhenania Freiburg . In 1842 he passed the state examination and became a trainee and legal intern at the Oberamt Durlach. In 1844 he came to the Eppingen District Office as a service administrator or administrator, where he was responsible for civil and criminal justice. In 1845 he moved to the Oberamt Lahr as an intern and service administrator for an examining magistrate. At the beginning of 1849 he worked briefly as a service administrator for civil servants in Durlach and Achern. In 1860 he was appointed bailiff and head of the district office in Schopfheim . In 1861 he was promoted to senior bailiff. From 1863 until his death in 1864 he was a councilor and chairman of the government of the Seekreis in Konstanz .
