George A. Cooper
George Alphonsus Cooper (born March 7, 1925 in Leeds , West Yorkshire - † November 16, 2018 in Liss , Hampshire ) was a British actor .
He was well known for his role as Mr. Griffiths on the long-running television series Grange Hill .
