George Athequa
George Athequa or George de Athequa also George Attien O.P. († February 1537 in Llandaff , Kingdom of England ) was Roman Catholic Bishop of Llandaff .

George Athequa was made Bishop of Llandaff, in Wales , on February 11, 1517 . The solemn episcopal ordination took place on March 8, 1517. The main consecrator was Bishop Charles Booth of Hereford from England , with John Young , titular bishop of Callipolis , and Francis Sexello OFM , titular bishop of Castoria serving as co-consecrators .
Bishop George Athequa served as Bishop of Llandaff for approximately twenty years until his death in 1537. Due to the English Reformation , he became the last Roman Catholic bishop of the Llandaff diocese.
