George Brinton McClellan Harvey
George Brinton McClellan Harvey (born February 16, 1864 in Peacham , Vermont , † August 20, 1928 ), known as Colonel George Harvey , was an American journalist and diplomat .
In 1899 he acquired the North American Review . In 1901 he also took over Harper's Weekly , which he published until 1913. He was considered the discoverer of Woodrow Wilson , whose campaign he strongly supported in 1912 . However, he later turned away from him. From 1921 to 1923, Harvey was the successor to John W. Davis as the United States Ambassador to Great Britain .
