George Clapp Vaillant

George Clapp Vaillant (born April 5, 1901 in Boston , Massachusetts , † May 13, 1945 in Devon , Pennsylvania ) was an American ethnologist .

His work The Aztecs. The Origin, Rise and Fall of a Mexican People was completed in 1944. His work Indian Arts in North America ( The Art of the North American Indians ) was published in 1939. He also wrote several monographs on excavations in Central America .
