George Edward Lynch

George Edward Lynch (born March 4, 1917 in Bronx , † May 25, 2003 ) was Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Raleigh .

Life

George Edward Lynch was ordained a priest on May 29, 1943 . Paul VI appointed him on October 20, 1969 auxiliary bishop in Raleigh and titular bishop of Satafi .

The Bishop of Raleigh, Vincent Stanislaus Waters , ordained him bishop on January 6 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Charles Borromeo McLaughlin , Bishop of Saint Petersburg , and Joseph Lennox Federal , Bishop of Salt Lake City .

On April 16, 1985, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
