George Golding
George Augustus Golding (born May 6, 1906 in Forbes , New South Wales , † August 30, 1999 in Manly ) was an Australian sprinter and hurdler .
In 1930 he won bronze over 440 yards at the British Empire Games in Hamilton .
At the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles , he was sixth over 400 m and reached the semifinals over 400 m hurdles .
In 1932 and 1934 he was Australian champion over 440 yard hurdles, in 1934 also over 440 yards.
In 1941 he married Clare Dennis , a swimmer .
