George Richard Potter

George Richard Potter (born August 6, 1900 in Norwich , Norfolk , † May 17, 1981 ) was a British historian . He was Professor of Modern and Medieval History at the University of Sheffield from 1931 to 1965 .

He wrote the biographies of Johannes Calvin , Thomas More and Ulrich Zwingli and was co-editor of The New Cambridge Modern History .
