George Will

George F. Will (born May 4, 1941 in Champaign , Illinois ) is an American journalist and author.

Life

Will was taught at Trinity College , Oxford and Princeton University . He taught political philosophy at Michigan State University and the University of Toronto . Will also served in the United States Senate . On January 1, 1974, he wrote his first column for the Washington Post . Two years later he was also writing for Newsweek . He won a total of 16 awards, including the Pulitzer Prize in 1977 and the Silurian Award for editorial writing in 1980. In 1985, he was even named Best Author by the Washington Journalism Review. In total, he has already written on foreign and domestic issues for over 460 newspapers. He also works as a commentator for ABC .
