George Zoritch
George Zoritch ( Russian Юрий (Георгий) Зорич ; born June 6, 1917 in Moscow , † November 1, 2009 in Tucson , Arizona ) was a Russian dancer .
In 1935 Zoritch became a member of the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo and toured the USA with them after the Second World War . He has appeared in a number of films including Day and Night I Think of You (1946), Samson and Delilah (1949), and the documentary about the Ballets Russes .
In 1994, Zoritch received the Nijinsky Medal, awarded by the Polish Ministry of Art and Culture.
George Zoritch spent the last years of his life in Tucson, Arizona, where he died at the age of 92.
