Georges-Eugène-Emile Choquet
Georges-Eugène-Emile Choquet (born November 3, 1878 in Paris , † April 20, 1946 ) was a French clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Tarbes and Lourdes .
Life
Georges-Eugène-Emile Choquet was ordained a priest on July 4, 1903 .
Pope Pius XI appointed him on May 29, 1935 Bishop of Langres . The Archbishop of Paris , Jean Verdier , ordained him episcopal on July 25 of the same year . Co - consecrators were his predecessor Louis-Joseph Fillon , Archbishop of Bourges , and the Bishop of Dijon , Pierre Petit de Julleville .
On February 11, 1938, he was appointed Bishop of Tarbes and Lourdes. He died during his tenure in 1946.
