Georgi Ivanovich Burkow

Georgi Iwanowitsch Burkow ( Russian Георгий Иванович Бурков , scientific transliteration Georgij Ivanovič Burkov ; born May 31, 1933 in Perm , Soviet Union ; † July 19, 1990 in Moscow , Soviet Union) was a Soviet actor .

Life

From 1952 to 1956 Burkow studied law at the University of Perm. From 1955 to 1958 he attended the evening studio of the Perm Drama Theater . He then worked in the theaters of Perm, Kemerovo and other cities. From 1965 he was an actor at the Stanislavski Theater and from 1970 to 1971 at the Sovremennik Theater in Moscow. From 1980 he worked at MChAT and from 1984 to 1987 he was part of the ensemble of the Moscow Pushkin Theater . From 1988 he was director of the Schukschin cultural center. In 1990 he died of a thrombosis in Moscow . He was buried in the Wagankowoer cemetery .

Burkow starred in many films, including the film Irony of Fate . He also worked as a voice actor in six films and cartoons .
