Georgia Groome
Georgia Isobel Groome (born February 11, 1992 in Nottingham , England ) is a British actress . She became known for her roles in London to Brighton and Frontal Snouting .
Life
Georgia Groome was born to Paul Groome, a cook, and Fiona (Tulloch), a drama and singing teacher. She has an older sister, Alexandra, a younger half-sister, Eden, a younger stepsister, Annie, a brother-in-law, Andre, and a nephew, River.
At the age of nine, Groome successfully auditioned for a role in the musical Annie Get Your Gun . She took drama workshops, studied at her mother's drama school, and attended Trent College .
Groome currently lives in London , where she graduated from King's College London with a degree in English in May 2014 . Georgia Groome has been Rupert Grint's girlfriend since 2011 .
Career
After her acting debut in the 2001 television film A Fish Out of Water , she got a role as an orphan in an episode of the short-lived television series Dangerville . She starred in the British film London to Brighton in 2006 and in the 2007 short film My Mother by Elaine Wickham.
In 2008, Groome had roles in the horror films The Cottage and The Disappeared . Her breakthrough came with the role as 14-year-old Georgia Nicolson in the film Frontalknutschen by Gurinder Chadha , for which she also won the Best Child Actor Award at the Buster International Children's Film Festival .
German dubbing voice
Few films with Groome have been dubbed into German so far; in Angus, Thongs it was by Anne Helm synchronized in Papadopoulos & Sons of Tanya Kahana and Double Date of Constanze Buttmann .
