Georgios Kotsilianos ( Greek Γιώργος Κοτσιλιάνος , born December 13, 1982 in Patras ) is a Greek volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career

Kotsilianos began his indoor career in 2003 with his hometown club EA Patras . In the following season, the outside attacker played for Olympiacos and won the Top Teams Cup with the club . Then he moved to Rethymno . He is currently in the squad of Panathinaikos Athens .

Kotsilianos played his first international tournaments in the sand in 2009 with Nikos Zoupanis . At the end of the year he was still performing with Sotiris Vlachostathis before forming a new duo with Emmanouil Xenakis in 2010. Kotsilianos / Xenakis won the satellite tournament in Cyprus . They achieved their best placement in the Open series with 13th place in The Hague . In 2011, Kotsilianos got back together with his first partner Zoupanis. The reunited duo has now also competed in some Grand Slams. At the European Championships 2012, the two Greeks were eliminated without winning a set after the preliminary round.
