Gerald Kyd
Gerald Kyd (* 1973 in Pretoria , South Africa , as Gerasimos Awkoumides ) is a Scottish actor of Greek descent.
life and career
Gerald Kyd moved with his family from South Africa to the United Kingdom in 1980 . There he studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art . After completing this, he attended the Royal Shakespeare Company .
Kyd made an appearance in Underworld in 1997 before taking on the role of Sean Maddox in Casualty from 1998 to 2006 . In 1999 he made a guest appearance in Die Profis - The Next Generation . In 2004 he was seen in the film The Defender . In 2010, he played a leading role in the short-lived NBC series Persons Unknown , in which he starred alongside Daisy Betts and Jason Wiles, among others . In 2012 he appeared in two episodes of The Midnight Beast before appearing in an episode of The Bible in 2013 .
