Geraldine McCaughrean
Geraldine McCaughrean (born June 6, 1951 in Enfield ) is a British children's author .
In 2005 she was selected by the rights holders of Peter Pan , the Great Ormond Street Hospital , to write a sequel, Peter Pan in Scarlet (Eng. Peter Pan and the Red Pirate ).
McCaughrean has written over 130 books, including six historical novels for adults. She lives in Berkshire with her husband John and daughter Ailsa .
