Little Rebels Award
The Little Rebels Award (long form: Little Rebels Children's Book Award ) is a British literary award . It has been awarded annually since 2013 by the Alliance of Radical Booksellers (ARB) for “radical fictional literature” - whereby this is understood as something that is anti-racist , ecological , socialist , anarchist or feminist . The target group of the literature are children from 0 to 12 years. Suggested literature must have first appeared within the previous calendar year and can be submitted by the beginning of January.
