Gerd Bienert
Gerd "Woody" Bienert (born October 29, 1939 ) is an Austrian jazz guitarist .
Bienert first played with Fatty George and Walter Hörler. From the early 1970s he directed the Printers jazz band, with which he also recorded with Ben Webster . He also played with Franz Bilik and his "Brogressivschrammeln" (1973 album) and Teddy Ehrenreich's big band . With Karl Hodina he formed a trio that released three albums. He also played with Art Farmer , Eddie Lockjaw Davis , Kai Winding , Joe Newman , Harry Edison and Buddy Tate .
