Gerd Siese

Gerd Siese (born January 5, 1944 ) is a former German soccer goalkeeper .

He started his career at TuS Eintracht Bielefeld and switched to Arminia Bielefeld in 1958 . From 1966 to 1977 he was in the squad of the professional team and played a total of 37 Bundesliga games as a licensed player in the 1970/71 and 1971/72 seasons . In addition, Siese played between 1974 and 1977 in 66 games in the 2nd Bundesliga North and from 1966 to 1970 and 1972 to 1974 in 142 games in the Regionalliga West for Arminia Bielefeld. He is a trained painter and worked in this profession during and after his football career. After his football career, he ran his own painting business.
