Gerda Stauner (born July 8, 1973 in Seubersdorf in the Upper Palatinate ) is a German writer.

Life

After graduating from Edith-Stein-Realschule in Parsberg, Gerda Stauner completed an apprenticeship as an office clerk . At the vocational school in Regensburg she obtained the subject-specific university entrance qualification. Out of interest in writing, she did internships in the Parsberg newspaper editorial office and in the Regensburg radio station . She studied business administration at the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences . She moved to Regensburg in 1999 and until 2007 ran the small themed hotel "Künstlerhaus" on the Alter Kornmarkt . Guests were musicians, cabaret artists and artists such as Die Fantastischen Vier , Georg Ringsgwandl and Samy Deluxe . With the help of Barbara Krohn and Elfi Hartenstein , she began to write texts at that time. She lives and works as a writer in Regensburg. With her native novels from Upper Palatinate , she is in a row with Gottfried Kölwel , Eduard Dietz and Margret Hölle . Since 2016 she has designed readings and reading formats for schools and libraries as well as for cultural events.
