Gerda Steiner-Paltzer
Gerda Steiner-Paltzer (born July 27, 1933 in Munich ) is a Bavarian folk actress .
Life
Steiner-Platzer comes from a family of musicians, and at the age of five she accompanied her mother on vocal tours at home and abroad. After school she studied singing and guitar at the Trapp Conservatory . In 1952, at the age of 19, she was chosen to be the Bräu-Rosl at the Oktoberfest . In the same year she married the actor Peter Steiner . Together they appeared as the Steiner siblings in the then nationally known Theater am Platzl . After 13 years, her marriage to Peter Steiner was divorced, but remained closely connected professionally. In 1969 she married the musician Hermann Paltzer. With him and two other musicians she toured as Gerda Steiner and the Isar Trio . From the mid-1980s Steiner-Paltzer became known to a larger audience with Peter Steiner's Theaterstadl , to whose ensemble she belonged until 2000. From 2005 to 2012 she was a member of the Berchtesgadener Bauerntheater ensemble .
She is the mother of the actors Gerda Steiner and Peter Steiner junior . Steiner-Paltzer lives in Gendorf .
