Gerda from the east

Gerda von der Osten (born May 14, 1904 , † March 5, 1946 in Berlin ) was a German theater and film actress .

Life

In the performance of Gerhart Hauptmann's Before Sunset in 1937 in the Rose Theater in Berlin, she played the leading role of Inken Peters in his presence. In 1942 she embodied the Portia in William Shakespeare's drama The Merchant of Venice
