Gergana Alexandrowa ( Bulgarian Гергана Александрова ; born December 29, 1991 ) is a former Bulgarian natural track tobogganist . She started in the World Cup in the 2009/2010 season and took part in the 2010 European Championship .

Career

Before Gergana Alexandrowa competed in her first natural luge races, she was already a member of the Bulgarian artificial luge squad , but never took part in international competitions. In the 2009/2010 season she started in the Natural Track Luge World Cup . She took part in two World Cup races, achieved 20th place on her debut on January 10, 2010 in Umhausen as penultimate place and in her second World Cup race in Latsch also penultimate 18th place. Thus she finished 22nd place in the overall World Cup. Between these two World Cup races, she took part in the 2010 European Championship in St. Sebastian , where she was second to last in 16th place, more than a minute behind. She also started in the team competition, but came together with Galabin Bozew and Petar Sawow only on the tenth and last place. Two weeks later, she also took part in the 2010 Junior World Championship in Deutschnofen , where she failed in the first of the three races. After the 2009/2010 season Alexandrowa took part in any international competitions.
