Gerhard Etzel

Gerhard Etzel (born June 3, 1936 ) worked from 1979 to 2001 as a judge at the Federal Labor Court in Kassel and Erfurt .

Life

Etzel studied law at the Universities of Mainz and Frankfurt am Main . In 1961 he passed the first state examination in law in Frankfurt. After his preparatory service, he also did his doctorate in Frankfurt in 1964 with a dissertation on the subject of "The systematic position of criminal responsibility incapacity".

After passing the second state examination in 1965, he worked as a lawyer and research assistant at the Federal Labor Court. In 1969 he was appointed Labor Court Councilor at the Kassel Labor Court. There he worked as director from 1976. On July 24, 1979 he was appointed to the Federal Labor Court, where he was responsible for collective bargaining law in the Fourth Senate .
