Gerhard Fischer (politician, June 1951)
Gerhard Fischer (born June 14, 1951 in Bäretswil , entitled to live there ) is a Swiss politician .
Fischer is a trained farmer . At the age of 20 he took over his parents' farm. The 38 hectare farm is now managed organically . Fischer is married and has ten children.
Gerhard Fischer is a member of the Evangelical People's Party (EPP). Since 1997 he has represented the Hinwil district in the Zurich Cantonal Council . He was elected President of the Cantonal Council for the 2010/2011 year of office.
