Gerhard Grützke

Gerhard Grützke (born June 5, 1908 in Berlin ; † July 30, 1981 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Grützke attended a high school and did a commercial apprenticeship at the IHK Berlin from 1924 to 1927 . Since 1923 he was a member of the Socialist Workers 'Youth (SAJ), the Reichsbanner Schwarz-Rot-Gold and the SPD, which he left in 1931 to join the Socialist Workers' Party of Germany (SAPD). Grützke worked as a bookseller . In 1940 he was the Wehrmacht confiscated and eventually fell into the captivity .

After the Second World War , Grützke rejoined the SPD in 1945. From 1953 to 1961 he was state chairman of the trade union for trade, banking and insurance (HBV). In the Berlin election in 1954 , he was elected to the district assembly in the Tiergarten district. In January 1959, Grützke moved into the Berlin House of Representatives , as Joachim Karnatz was elected to the Tiergarten district office.
