Gerhard Hoffmann (Arabist)

Gerhard Hoffmann (born October 28, 1941 in Leipzig ) is a German Arabist and historian.

Gerhard Hoffmann received his doctorate in February 1973 at the Section for African and Middle Eastern Studies at the Karl Marx University Leipzig (KMU) with a thesis on the subject of the commune or state bureaucracy?
