from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gerhard Kehrberg (* 1949 in Berlin ) is a German physicist and professor at the Technical University of Brandenburg .

Life

After graduating from high school and training as an electrical mechanic , Gerhard Kehrberg studied physics at the Humboldt University in Berlin. After completing his studies, he worked as a research assistant at the Central Institute for Cancer Research of the Academy of Sciences. From 1977 he worked as a research assistant in the metrology department of the Office for Standardization, Metrology and Goods Testing and from 1978 as head of the printing department. From 1983 he was a research assistant in the physics section of the Humboldt University with a focus on linear and nonlinear laser spectroscopy on pigment-protein complexes of the photosynthesis units of higher plants . In 1987, Kehrberg received his doctorate with a thesis in the field of optics and one year later, in 1988, he took up an additional course in university education . Since 1983 he has been teaching experimental physics.

Since 1993 he has been a professor for experimental physics , especially laser physics, at the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences.

The focus of Kehrberg's work is on experimental physics, laser and laser measurement technology, laser spectroscopy and applied optics.
