Gerhard Kraitzeck (born September 2, 1925 ) is a former German football player. From 1950 to 1955 he played in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football , for unity / progress Meerane .

Athletic career

In 1950, the 24-year-old defender Gerhard Kraitzeck was runner-up in the Brandenburg state class with the Central Sports Association Textile Cottbus . On the penultimate matchday of the 1954/55 season he shot in the match between SC activist Brieske-Senftenberg - progress Meerane (3-1) his only top division goal, at which point the Meeraner were already relegated. Kraitzeck played with the BSG Progress in the GDR League until 1959. Of the 104 league games played in this period, he played 87 games.
