Venues for the Brandenburg State Football League 1949/50

The Brandenburg State Football Class in 1949/50 was the fourth edition of the Brandenburg State Football Class . After the introduction of the Eastern Zone League (later GDR Oberliga ) this season, the Brandenburg state class was only second class. For the first time the league was played on a single track with 14 teams. At the end of the season, ZSG Textil Cottbus and ZSG Großräschen were two teams tied at the top. In a playoff for the Brandenburg Championship, Großräschen prevailed with a 2-0 victory. With this victory Großräschen was allowed to participate in the promotion round to the GDR Oberliga 1950/51 , but failed in this. Instead, he rose with three other teams in the newly established, second-rate GDR soccer league in 1950/51 . With the ZSG Hennigsdorf there was only one relegated. With the formation of company sports associations (BSG) , several teams appeared under a new name.
