The Landesliga Hessen 1949/50 was the last season of the football Hessenliga as the second highest division. The master qualified for the then highest German league, the Oberliga . Champion of SV Darmstadt 98 with three points ahead of Viktoria Aschaffenburg . The teams in places 2 to 5 qualified for the 2nd League South , which was held for the first time in the following season . There was no relegation.
