The Hessenliga 1969/70 was the 20th season of the football Hessenliga as the third highest division. The champions were the amateur team of Eintracht Frankfurt , but were not allowed to rise to the second highest German league, the Regionalliga . Instead, Viktoria Aschaffenburg moved up. Descent had SpVgg Bad Homburg , Hünfelder SV , Hermannia Kassel and SV Wiesbaden .
