The master qualified for the promotion round to the second highest German league, the 2nd Oberliga . Champion was Olympia Lampertheim ahead of Borussia Fulda and Eintracht Wetzlar . Borussia Fulda took part in the German amateur championship in 1952  , but failed in the quarter-finals at TSV Schwabach 04 (Bavaria).
