    Promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga

    Viktoria Aschaffenburg only finished third in Group 4 of the subsequent round of promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga and thus missed promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.

    German amateur championship

    As a Hessian representative, SpVgg Bad Homburg took part in the German amateur championship in 1992 and prevailed in the group matches of the preliminary group against SSV Ulm 1846 , TSV Vestenbergsgreuth , FC Wismut Aue and Südwest Ludwigshafen . In the final, Bad Homburg lost to Rot-Weiss Essen 2: 3 after extra time.
