The football Bayernliga 1991/92 was the 14th season of the Bavarian Football Association 's Bayernliga as an amateur league . The master of the Bavarian League played similarly to previous years in the promotion round against the champions of the other top leagues for the promotion to the 2. Bundesliga , while the runner-up to participate in the Amateur Championship was justified. From the Bayern League, SpVgg Unterhaching finally qualified for the promotion round in 1992 , in which Unterhaching finally achieved promotion. SC 08 Bamberg , TSV Schwaben Augsburg , MTV 1881 Ingolstadt and SpVgg Plattling were relegated to the subordinate leagues .

They were replaced in the following season by the teams from VfL Frohnlach , FC Starnberg , SpVgg Landshut and 1. FC Passau , who were promoted to the Bayern League. TSV 1860 Munich was added from the 2nd Bundesliga .
