The Landesliga Bayern 1948/49 was the fourth season of the highest amateur football class below the Oberliga Süd in Bavaria . The league consisted of 16 teams . The champions were SSV Jahn Regensburg , which rose just like second-placed SpVgg Fürth . The last three clubs, FC Bayern Kitzingen , FSV Gostenhof 83 Nuremberg and the Regensburg gymnastics club , were relegated.
