description

A church was first mentioned in 1081, then again in 1318 as a church with a choir tower and flanking extensions . The capitals in the late Gothic tower, however, point to the previous Romanesque building . The original hall church with a church tower in the west dates from 1429, of which the tower has been preserved. Today's nave , covered with a mansard roof , is a uniform two-storey rectangular building. It was rebuilt in 1784 west of the tower. On the north side is a portal with a door leaf from the construction period. The high hipped roof of the tower is slated . The tower has coupled arched windows on the top floor as sound arcades , behind which the belfry is located. In it hangs a bell that was cast in 1458. The ground floor of the tower has a ribbed vault that has been defaced by fixtures. The church furnishings from the construction period are simple. There is a painting on the flat ceiling showing the resurrection and ascension of Christ . The organ in the baroque organ front has 16 stops . They are divided into 2 manuals and a pedal and were built in 1794 by an unknown organ builder .
