Gerhard Schneider (theologian, 1926)

Gerhard Schneider (born June 15, 1926 in Trier ; † November 22, 2004 in Bochum ) was a German New Testament scholar .

Life

In Illingen (Saar) he was chaplain and in Nonnenwerth rector and religion teacher . He taught Rudolf Schnackenburg's student from 1968 to 1988 as professor of the New Testament at the Ruhr University in Bochum .
